Once there was a Century Plant,
It lived one hundred years.
But before it bloomed and faded,
It shed its share of tears.
The plant had many good times
With friends: the clouds and trees.
And its entire life span
Held fondest memories.
It's these, the things we treasure,
Like friends and living long,
Like sad and good times alike,
That form our wealth, so strong!
