Wish your wonderful mother-in-law a Merry Christmas with a card featuring a lighthouse scene with snow, a Christmas Tree, icy water and mountains against a beautiful blue sky. Design is framed in burgundy lines with snowflakes and burgundy text. Inside like all Greeting Card Universe cards can be personalized by you if you wish to give it your own personal touch. Lighthouses in fairly close proximity to each other have different flash patterns to allow the mariner to identify their location. Some lighthouses in different geographical areas share the same flash patterns. Originally lighthouses were lit with open fires, only later progressing through candles, lanterns and electric lights.
