This dramatic Chinese New Year card has been created for the Year of the Rooster, that will occur in 2029. The wording at the bottom of the bright scarlet card is hand lettered, in black, with the wording "Year of the Rooster". Above the lettering, a confident rooster perches on one foot, in silhouette, in front of a sun with variations of the colors of orange, yellow and tangerine. A detailed oriental border of black, encircles the sun, setting it off from the red of the card, with tiny flowers and swirls. The card's inside wording says "May your New Year be filled with happiness and good fortune."
