A beautiful display of flowers against a watercolor background for Mother's Day during COVID-19. Mother's Day during COVID-19 is going to be a hard time for so many. We all need to reach out to one another more now than ever. Original design by Laurie Schneider, elements by SapG Art, MarloDee Designs. FYI: Surprisingly sunflower stems were used to fill life jackets. Floating sunflower rafts have been used to clean up water contamination from the Chernobyl disaster. The roots of the sunflowers remove up to 95% radioactivity by drawing the contaminants out of the water. Daffodils are used as currency for Prince Charles, he is paid one daffodil a year as rent for his lands on the Island of Scilly and off the coast of Cornwall.
