Maryland Day is a holiday in the U.S. state of Maryland, observed on March 25, the anniversary of the landing of the first European settlers in the Province of Maryland. This card features an illustration of the 1934 issue to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of Maryland. The stamp drawing is purely a representation for this design.
