Poor Ted. Not only can he not get to work because of a major blizzard buried his home, a little A-frame in the middle of what is now a magical winter wonderland. But then he apparently went and called his boss to apprise him of the situation, saying, “No, really. I’m snowed in.” And since it is a well-established fact that our government now intercepts any voice messages containing trigger words regarding national security, poor Ted ends up being mistaken for Edward Snowden, the NSA whistleblower and world’s most-wanted fugitive, and is summarily arrested. At least he got to ride in a helicopter.
