Ice Cream

I needed a special card for my niece's wedding shower. On her wedding registry was listed a particular ice cream scoop. Although it was an inexpensive gift, I knew that it was the perfect gift for me to get for her. "Scoop" has a special meaning in my family as a nickname for my deceased husband, her uncle. Greeting Card Universe had just the card that I wanted with the two dancing ice cream cones on the front. It originally was an invitation to an ice cream social. But instead I changed the inside by using a quote from Peanuts creator Charles M. Schultz about "Life is like an ice cream cone, you have to lick it one day at a time." then added "But it's more fun to be able to share it with a partner." I included a gift certificate to Brusters Real Ice Cream so she'll have some ice cream to try out her new scoop. The greeting card tied it altogether perfectly. Loved it! Unique and sweet!
