First, he falls head over heals for Delilah who goes and betrays him to the Philistines. They in turn give poor Samson a buzz cut – about 3,000 years before they became popular-- when all he wanted was frigging trim. Of course he had made the mistake of telling Delilah that his long hair was the source of his unequaled strength, so shorn he’s now as weak as a puppy and not nearly as cute. Desperate times require desperate measures so here we see Samson fitting himself with a mop toupee in an effort to get his strength back. It doesn’t work. So he’s disconsolate as his twisted expression shows.
